- Produit : Si $A \in \mathcal{M}{n,p}$ et $B \in \mathcal{M}{p,q}$, alors $AB \in \mathcal{M}_{n,q}$.
On note $B = A^{-1}$.
- Transposition : $(AB)^T = B^T A^T$.
$AB = \begin{pmatrix} 1\times3+2\times1 & 1\times0+2\times2 \ 0\times3+1\times1 & 0\times0+1\times2 \end{pmatrix} = \begin{pmatrix} 5 & 4 \ 1 & 2 \end{pmatrix}$.
- Inverse : Pour $A = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 1 \ 0 & 2 \end{pmatrix}$, on cherche $X$ tq $AX=I$. On trouve $A^{-1} = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & -0.5 \ 0 & 0.5 \end{pmatrix}$.
