    • Example: "I went to Marrakech to visit the Koutoubia."
  • Modals of Possibility (La possibilité):
    • $Subject + \text{may / might} + \text{base\ verb}$ (pour une possibilité incertaine).

Méthodes à maîtriser

  • Décrire un voyage : Utiliser l'ordre chronologique (First, Then, After that, Finally) et des adjectifs variés pour ne pas répéter "good" ou "nice".
  • Utiliser le but : Ne pas oublier que "to", "in order to" et "so as to" sont toujours suivis d'un verbe à l'infinitif.

Exemples corrigés

  • Transformation (Purpose) :
    • Question: He saved money. He wanted to buy a plane ticket. (Use "so as to")
    • Answer: He saved money so as to buy a plane ticket.
  • Tense Choice :
    • Question: I (travel) to London last summer.
    • Answer: I traveled to London last summer. (Indicateur de temps passé : "last summer").

Erreurs fréquentes

  • Confusion de vocabulaire : Confondre "journey" (le trajet/le déplacement) et "trip" (le voyage complet/le séjour).
  • Erreur de structure : Dire "I went to Paris for visit" $\rightarrow$ Faux. Dire "I went to Paris to visit" $\rightarrow$ Correct.
  • Oubli du participe passé : Utiliser la base verbale avec le Present Perfect (ex: "I have go" $\rightarrow$ Faux).
