📘 Fiche de cours
L'essentiel du cours
Le chapitre « Tourism » se concentre sur le vocabulaire lié aux voyages, aux sites touristiques et à l'impact du tourisme sur le Maroc.
- Vocabulary: Sightseeing, booking, accommodation, destination, landscape, heritage, hospitality, sustainable tourism.
- Grammar focus:
- Passive Voice (ex: "The Koutoubia is visited by thousands of tourists").
- Relative Clauses (using who, which, where).
- Expressing purpose (using to, in order to, so as to).
Méthodes à maîtriser
- Writing a postcard/email: Utiliser des expressions de sentiment (I am having a great time, The weather is wonderful).
- Describing a place: Utiliser des adjectifs qualificatifs (breathtaking, historical, crowded, peaceful).
- Passive Voice conversion: Identifier le sujet, le verbe et l'objet pour transformer une phrase active en passive.
Exemples corrigés
- Passive Voice: "Tourists visit Marrakech." $\rightarrow$ "Marrakech is visited by tourists."
- Purpose: "I went to Chefchaouen to see the blue streets."
- Relative Clause: "Fes is a city which is famous for its old medina."
Erreurs fréquentes
- Oublier le participe passé dans la voix passive (ex: "The hotel is build" au lieu de "The hotel is built").
- Confondre "which" (pour les choses) et "who" (pour les personnes).
- Utiliser "to" suivi d'un verbe conjugué (ex: "I go to see" est correct, "I go to seeing" est faux).
