📘 Fiche de cours

L'essentiel du cours

1. Vocabulaire thématique (Key Vocabulary) Pour parler des avancées technologiques, il est indispensable de maîtriser ces termes :

  • Breakthrough / Discovery : Une avancée majeure / Une découverte.
  • Cutting-edge / State-of-the-art : À la pointe de la technologie (très moderne).
  • Invention : Une invention (création de quelque chose de nouveau).
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI) : L'intelligence artificielle.
  • Automation : L'automatisation (remplacement de l'homme par des machines).
  • Cybercrime : La cybercriminalité (crimes sur internet).
  • Gadget : Un petit appareil technologique.
  • Digital era / Age : L'ère numérique.

2. Grammaire (Grammar Focus)

  • The Passive Voice : Très utilisée pour décrire des inventions ou des processus scientifiques où l'action est plus importante que l'auteur.
    • Structure : $Subject + be (conjugated) + Past\ Participle$
    • Exemple : The internet was invented in the 20th century.
  • Future Forms (Predictions) :
    • $Will + Verb$ : Pour des prédictions basées sur des opinions. (AI will change our lives.)
    • $Be\ going\ to + Verb$ : Pour des prédictions basées sur des preuves actuelles. (Look at these robots, they are going to replace workers.)

3. Writing (Expression écrite) Le sujet porte souvent sur les avantages (advantages/pros) et les inconvénients (disadvantages/cons) de la technologie.

  • Introduction : Présenter le sujet et la problématique.
  • Body Paragraph 1 : Les bénéfices (gain de temps, communication, médecine).
  • Body Paragraph 2 : Les risques (perte d'emploi, vie privée, dépendance).
  • Conclusion : Résumé et opinion personnelle.

Méthodes à maîtriser

1. Comment rédiger un essai sur la technologie ? Utilisez des connecteurs logiques pour structurer votre pensée :

  • To start: First of all, To begin with.
  • To add ideas: Moreover, Furthermore, In addition.
  • To show contrast: However, On the other hand, Nevertheless.
  • To conclude: To sum up, In conclusion.

2. Transformer une phrase active en passive (Méthode)

  1. Identifiez l'objet de la phrase active.
  2. Placez cet objet en début de phrase (il devient le nouveau sujet).
  3. Utilisez l'auxiliaire $be$ au même temps que la phrase originale.
  4. Ajoutez le participe passé du verbe principal.
  5. (Optionnel) Ajoutez l'auteur avec $by$.

Exemples corrigés

Exemple 1 : Vocabulaire Question : "The new smartphone uses ________ technology." (cutting-edge / discovery) Réponse : cutting-edge. (On utilise un adjectif pour qualifier la technologie).

Exemple 2 : Grammaire (Passive Voice) Question : "Scientists discovered a new planet." $\rightarrow$ (Passive) Réponse : A new planet was discovered by scientists. Explication : "Discovered" est au Past Simple, donc on utilise $was + discovered$.

Exemple 3 : Grammaire (Future) Question : "In 2050, robots ________ (do) all the housework." Réponse : will do. (C'est une prédiction sur le futur lointain).

Erreurs fréquentes

  • Confondre "Invention" et "Discovery" : On invente un objet (un téléphone) mais on découvre un fait ou un lieu (une nouvelle planète, la gravité).
  • Oublier l'auxiliaire "be" au passif : Dire "The law passed" au lieu de "The law was passed".
  • Mauvais usage de "will" : Utiliser "will" pour une intention personnelle déjà planifiée (utilisez plutôt "going to").
La question que tu n'oses pas poser en classe ? Pose-la à UstadZéro jugement, même en darija, même à minuit. Il t'explique pas à pas et corrige ta démarche. Gratuit.
