  • Solution : We should encourage recycling and reduce the use of single-use plastics to protect our ecosystem.
  • Connecteur : Since (puisque) we have limited resources, we must manage them wisely.

Gratuit.

Which of the following is a non-renewable energy source?

❓ Questions fréquentes

What is the main goal of sustainable development?

The main goal is to balance economic growth, social well-being, and environmental protection. It ensures that we use resources today without destroying them for the people who will live in the future.

💡 À retenir : It is about meeting present needs without harming future generations.

chno hiya l'relation bin sustainable development o l'environnement?

💡 À retenir : Environmental protection is the foundation of sustainability.

Is sustainable development only about planting trees?

No, it is much broader. While planting trees is part of environmental protection, sustainable development also includes social justice, fair wages, education, and using clean energy like solar or wind power.

💡 À retenir : It covers economic, social, and environmental aspects.

kifach n7seb l'impact dyalna 3la l'environnement?

💡 À retenir : Carbon footprint measures our environmental impact.

Why is renewable energy important?

Renewable energy (like solar or wind) is infinite and clean. Unlike fossil fuels (oil, coal), it does not pollute the air or contribute to global warming, making it essential for a sustainable future.

💡 À retenir : Renewable energy is clean and inexhaustible.

wach l'education 3ndha dor f had l-chapitre?

Oui, absolument.

💡 À retenir : Education is the key to changing human behavior.

What does "fossil fuels" mean?

These are energy sources formed from the remains of ancient plants and animals, such as coal, oil, and natural gas. They are non-renewable and cause high levels of pollution.

💡 À retenir : Fossil fuels are non-renewable and harmful to the planet.

Can you give an example of a sustainable action at home?

Yes: turning off lights when leaving a room, fixing leaking taps to save water, and separating waste for recycling are simple but effective daily actions.

💡 À retenir : Small individual actions lead to big collective changes.

What is the role of international organizations in this?

They set global goals (like the UN's SDGs), provide funding for green projects, and encourage countries to sign treaties to reduce pollution and protect biodiversity.

💡 À retenir : International cooperation is vital for global sustainability.

How can we fight poverty sustainably?

By creating green jobs, providing quality education, and ensuring fair access to resources, so that people can improve their lives without relying on destructive practices.

💡 À retenir : Sustainable development links poverty reduction to environmental care.

Is recycling enough to save the planet?

Recycling is important, but it's not enough. We also need to reduce consumption (buy less) and reuse items. The strategy is: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

💡 À retenir : The 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) are the core of waste management.

What is the meaning of "biodiversity"?

It refers to the variety of all living things on Earth (plants, animals, insects). Protecting biodiversity is essential because every species plays a role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.

💡 À retenir : Biodiversity is the variety of life on our planet.
